Camera pictures
after the trip to portmeirion (the village) we had the pictures for our textures and reference. today we simply had to rename all the pictures for easier finding for everyone else to use. i found that portmeirion was alot smaller than i thought and there was alot more to the TV show however when i watched the prisoner ep 4 i realized i was wrong for the background was pretty much the same but in different angles most of the time.

My first post on the prisoner and modernism
The Prisoner is a TV series, was created in 1967 and changed the world in terms of wacky ideas like the chair below (for it’s time), being watched ideas like the Truman show. The show has a huge sense of modernism throughout the show from start to finish, for in the 1960’s they were experimenting with idea of modernism.
Modernism is what anyone would expect this word to mean. To change the times that we live in like changing the basic straight chair into a circler chair however of cause this is a very hard thing to do in this time but don’t get me wrong it happens all the time through the media but in the 1960’s there was a vast of ideas untouched. This is the reason for modernism being so popular in the 1960’s.
The prisoner and modernism link through the setting of this show for example look at this image below
For the time this setting was created it makes no sense and this is why it was successful for the strangeness of this place sucked people into the show wondering what else could happen while everyone inhabiting this place is still being extremely controlled.
His is a great example for modernism is the chairs for they make no sense again for you wouldn’t be able to sit straight in the chair making lean forward at all times.
Another extremely over the top idea in my opinion is the white bouncing ball that attacks anyone that doesn’t follow the order of the village and still worked yet strangely didn’t seem to be controlled by anyone for the audience don’t see anyone remotely controlling it or something controlling it. For it seemed to pop out of no where and attack or sometimes just watch people.
Plus also notice I found the font from the prisoner which is used throughout the prisoner which to looks to fit the show itself for font matched the strangeness to the prisoner

The start of my research
During my research into applications of 3D I came across one particular web page in which was titled “25 (Free) 3D Modelling you should not miss”. The web page is brief however opens new areas of applications of 3D I didn’t know about like Blink 3D and Blender. So I can research them further. See my link it's alright.
My first blog
This is my first blog for my village/ 3D project.
In this project i will be learning further 3D design so i can fully explain 3D plus creating the setting from the prisoner within my group.
